Role Product Lead ProCom Automation

Clouver: building an IIoT platform for production monitoring

Product Lead at ProCom Automation GmbH, Aachen, Germany

Outcome

A concept became a market ready product that ProCom Automation sells today. It lets manufacturers see machine states in real time instead of reconstructing downtime after the fact.

Hichame Zouak owned Clouver as product lead, from concept through to market. He built the product team and the product concept, contributed to development and presented the product at industry trade fairs.

Clouver connects machines from any vendor through IoT gateways, processes data at the edge and in the cloud, and runs in German data centres. Target sectors are metal and plastics processing, textiles and general manufacturing.

Role Project lead for the implementation projects ORAYLIS

Modern data warehouse in Azure for Isabellenhütte

Outcome

Cross departmental metrics are no longer produced manually but automatically and current to the day. Reporting no longer runs on an environment that is out of support, but on a platform that can be extended further.

As project lead at ORAYLIS, Hichame Zouak was responsible for the two implementation projects that followed the data strategy assessment at Isabellenhütte. The preceding assessment was handled by a different ORAYLIS team.

Isabellenhütte is the oldest industrial company in Hesse, family owned in its eighth generation, and manufactures precision measurement technology and power resistors. Reporting previously ran on an IBM Cognos environment from 2009 that was out of support. Cross departmental metrics were produced manually.
